Ontario is providing a planning grant of up to $500,000 to help Health Sciences North with the expansion plan for the NEO Kids and Family Program. NEO Kids will bring vital pediatric services and medical innovation to our region, improving health care and keeping our children closer to home.
Happy to have @drerichoskins in #sudbury today as we take an important step to provide the best level of care in the North.@HSN_sudbury will receive up to $500,000 for the expansion plan for NEO Kids and Family Program which means better access to care for the youngest patients pic.twitter.com/KThRFt1pWw— Glenn Thibeault (@GlennThibeault) January 19, 2018
Easier-to-access care designed for our youngest patients means families won't have to travel long distances for the care they need. It's what Northeners have been demanding and it's what I'm working to deliver.
Building and expanding hospitals is part of Ontario's plan to create fairness and opportunity across our province. I am glad to see that Health Sciences North will be part of this expansion.
